"So television is very important as well because we sometimes get letters after a film's been in television and that we get inquiries and that is all about raising awareness. That's the nature of documentary filmmaking we wish to raise awareness." And Being Innu includes a proven track record of raising awareness whenever it has been shown. At festival screenings, Ms. Mullins has been at a loss for the crowd response. "Often I attend screenings and that i possess a question and answer period, as well as for this film, it's incredible," she said. "People simply have increasingly more questions and eventually we must stop the questions because we just exhaust time." Ms. Mullins said that some audience member have even been standing and saying that they think guilty for that treatment of Aboriginal peoples in Canada,canada goose sale.
