GOP heavyweights lining up behind Martinez
CNN Political Director Mark Preston
Washington (CNN) Congressional leaders, potential presidential candidates and party elders can come together in a few days within the nation's capital to assist fill New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez's political war chest, CNN realizes.
From House Speaker John Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Marco Rubio, a minimum of 27 individuals are listed as "Honored Guests" on a fundraising invitation which features Republican Governors Association Chair Bobby Jindal, Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus and former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, among many others. The big event is anticipated to boost "six figures, canada goose online," said an adviser to the Boise state broncos governor, who spoke about it around the condition of anonymity. Contributions vary from $500 to $5,canada goose sale jackets,200 per person.
As of now, it seems Martinez includes a path to reelection as Democrats have failed to identify a strong challenger. "For finding yourself in this type of competitive state, Martinez is in surprising good shape for second term," said Nathan Gonzales, deputy editor from the nonpartisan Rothenberg Political Report.
So why are Republicans focusing on helping Martinez, who's expected to win reelection in 2014? Simply, she is an important public figure for the GOP, who lost the Hispanic vote to President Barack Obama by an overwhelming margin this year. And there's an acknowledgment by Priebus along with other GOP leaders that future electoral successes will be based, in part, on convincing Hispanic voters to aid Republicans. Who better to help deliver that message than Martinez the first Hispanic woman ever elected governor.
"Governor Martinez is deeply appreciative of the support she's receiving from so many leaders in the Republican Party as she seeks to raise the reelection funds essential to communicate her message," said the adviser, who spoke concerning the fundraiser around the condition of anonymity.
jkane sfl the gop national disgrace party is going to be swept out such as the trash they're in2014 ?
Anybody who votes for just about any gop, just consider yourself and idiot!!!!! Ray ,and also the other teaparty red necks who want to reside in the 1950 s, proceed to somila where they have gun rights and no healthcare , bit they would probably excute you.
Where exactly is "somila" that you simply always mention inside your little rants, parajumpers jakke? It that the place that borders jabooty?
Isn't it great that so many people can get on the internet and butcher the spellings of countries in their various rants? Of course, it is not far better if you have those who have never learned basic grammar, either. You tell that they spend more time texting than reading.

The question that has to have to be asked is the reason why has the price of attending college far outpaced the rest of the economy. including healthcare? And why don't more students attend public community college for that first couple of years when they are "discovering themselves and what they want to be" when (if) they grow up?
Good question. More students are attending public and community colleges, but the community colleges are offering far more career training/retraining courses and certifications than they did previously. Having graduates enter the workforce with a bare minimum of skills, especially critical thinking and analytical skills isn't something we can afford as a country. One way they have kept the cost down at vocational schools is as simple as hiring adjuncts that they pay a pittance to, rather than hiring fulltime faculty with PhDs: the advantage was that we had realworld expereince we could spread to our students. As far as finding themselves, kids now aren't all that diverse from i was: the majority of my students worked fulltime in addition to attending school full time, plus some were already parents. They worked hard, typically, and I saw them grow. For individuals who took it further, they were often stymied by having to pay for outrageous levels of money to obtain 2 more many years of additional education. I have never bought the arguement that higher education was being starved; frankly, the families were. My alma mater comes with an endowment of over 1.5 billion, and they still come after me and every other living grad and former parent. Its insane.

You attacked the spelling but as usual, didn't respect the logic of the question. Where's this mythical place where all conservative ideologies are applied? A place without any gun control, no income taxes, small government, no Civil Rights Act,moncler pas cher chine, no abortions, a free market, no federal healthcare system, no environmental regulations, and a Christian theocracy? It should be a wonderful place becoming one for quality of life and freedom. Surely this type of logical system might have at least one representative nation on the planet. Where is it?

The federal government dosen't owe a living. It's up to you to fund your vices. The Liberal's outsmarted themselves with Obama Care. Before you placed on the rooftop you need to build the building blocks. Medicare is running out of money and will be exhausted in 2016. Obama Care will get rid of the Golden Goose long before that. You like Prverty? Thanks for visiting the Club.
Basically liked poverty and a banana republicstyle government, I'd move to a Red State. No, you're right, the federal government doesn't owe a living: it does owe an equal opportunity, which social welfare programs give people. If the private sector doesn't want to make the most of welleducated, welltrained people, they'll force all of us to pay the price. Conservatives happen to be screaming the sky's falling since Social Security was enacted in the 1930 ( and also the first payment wasn't made before the 40 Every social welfare program which has ever been enacted has been implemented with imput and approval from the business sector: we pay into it as employees, not out of general tax revenues. It might be very punitive to do it every other way: does anyone on the Right seriously think they could afford medical health insurance if it was a completely unregulated market? Come on. The insurance industry would eventually become calling for regulating some kind, because it could be in their selfinterest to keep the market from getting too volatile.
