When I go on hiking trips,parajumpers, I wear proper boot styles. However, when I wide lace them tight, my ankles swell terribly after a few hours and begin feeling funny (rounding about the joint is like touching a go up). It sounds like the issue that you're getting that the ankles are bloating up too much. This can easily be caused by wearing boots that are laced also tightly. It could also be caused by other factors. It may be comforting to have a quite snug fit if you are doing technical battling, but that's not always practical for long amounts of time. In case you are feet are bloating up while you're trekking, and throbbing in the boot, that's might cause orthopedic problems down the line.
You're trying to fine tune your lacing technique, but I have a couple of thoughts:
You may you should be tightening your footwear too much for your feet
Your boots might not actually fit (I've narrow feet, and I've found that when I'm forced to continually overtighten a boot, its truly because the boot is simply too wide).
Try experimenting with scrambling in loose boots. You may have with additional control over your feet as compared to you realize, and you may not need to depend on quite so much tightness in the shoe. (again, I personally discovered that narrower boots for my narrow foot feel much more risk-free than brands of trainers designed for wider feet)
If you feel like you really need boots tighter for short,www.jehudasaar.com/category/parajumpers-jakke-norge/, certain sections of the trail, you might just tighten them down a little for your section, then undo them up for too long sections of regular hiking.
You could carry equally boots and some some other shoe (like strategy shoes), and swap as you need to. More weight, and swapping shoes or boots will slow you down, nevertheless its an option.
