Spring into activity for fun in the outdoors
Allwood is located two kilometers west of the Dayton International airport at 9119 Frederick Pike, just off Route 40. Entrance is just $5 per vehicle.
Take the kids to find out what is frolicking, clucking,cheap parajumpers, oinking, waddling along with nuzzling at Aullwood Farm. They will enjoy special kid's activities and BisKits the Clown. The onsite demos include: sheep shearing,parka jakke, wool carding and weaving, and 4H team members show the way to milk a goat,parajumper vinterjakke, stick a chair and take care of honeybees.
Chris Rowlands will present live dulcimer music, art vendors will show their particular wares and the Greenview Back garden Club will web host a plant purchase. Take your time to stroll , nor worry about getting famished. The fest will have Allwood's famous meats, orange shakeups, dessert waffles, kettle hammer toe, grilled cheese sandwiches and more.
Up for something more strenuous? It is time for the annual Stillwater Water Education Float upon Friday, June 6, followed by the Thirteenth Annual Stillwater River CleanUp on June 18. Preregister by May Thirty one for the float. Spots fill up fast. A safety talk created by the Ohio Department involving Natural Resources will require place before the launch. Section leaders can inspect participants to be certain they are wearing proper shoes that cover toes and have a thick sole. Old running shoes are fantastic. Be sure to dress to the weather. Gloves are generally advisable, but not essential.
