Do you feel that women get fancy shoes mainly to impress men
Ladies get shoes because they don't want to walk around barefooted. They only buy expensive shoes to wear regarding special occasions like gonna church,

Males are usually impressed by the form of the legs which are in the shoes. Through the roof heels elongate the legs so guys like that look. Of course, women do want to look attractive and yes sometimes they do want to make an impression on a certain man, generally not all men unless of course she is modeling and seeking to sell clothes.
We wear platform footwear because I want to put them on. I don't wear them specially to impress men, on the other hand do tend to draw in men who have a fetish for the children. However, that is not the reason why I wear them.
To respond to your extremely absurd and borderline offensive 2nd question, the majority of guys I know do observe womens' shoes, and they typically compliment us with them. I had my initial pair of platform shoes or boots for my birthday in '93, and I have been getting kind comments about my shoes or boots ever since then.
As for the addition of the word "straight" from the second half of your problem, please explain what your implication was and why, or perhaps I will flag the whole question as absurdity.
