Seabrook Hike and Bike Trail
This hike is really a combination of smalltown neighborhood hiking and wilderness, solitary hiking in some of the greatest birding areas across the Texas Gulf Coast. Seabrook, which was founded in 1832 by Ritson Morris, received a league of land from the Mexican government. Parts of this league were sold to Seabrook W. Sydnor in 1895, giving the town its current name. Noted for the bay and its accompanying wildlife, Seabrook has over 300 species of birds listed on the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail.
