Fire station will get splash of color
Fifty volunteers, including two dozen offduty firefighters plus a couple dozen charity men and women, repainted a 45yearold fire station yesterday within Paradise Hills.
Firefighters with San Diego Fire Place 22 on Briarwood Highway near Paradise Area Road said it had been apparently the first time the onestory, 2,000squarefoot structure had been repainted. The original tanandred color structure was slightly modified: it is now and red-colored, volunteers said. The color was donated by Vista paint,parajumpers rea, a new Fullertonbased company with 7 stores in Hillcrest County.

The charity effort was supported yesterday by volunteers through Union Bank of California and through LPL Financial, a L . a . Jolla brokerage.
